ARTIST STATEMENT.
On April 8th 1990 when Twin Peaks aired for the very first time, the world was engrossed by the question “Who killed Laura Palmer?” It was a show that redefined television and changed cinema forever. A murder set in middle America had caught the attention of the globe and nowhere seemed safe anymore.
It was Twin Peaks that got me hooked on the work of David Lynch. From Eraserhead to INLAND EMPIRE. The beauty and horror of Blue Velvet and the incredible textures in his paintings. Surrealism had never felt so real...
Lynched is my personal homage to my hero David Lynch. Exploring the characters, surrealism and the silence that so often lives inside his work. I have tried to create a project full of images inspired by his work.
I like to think that this will be a continuous project as the possibilities seem endless. I'll be updating this project/gallery  with new photographs as I continue to work on the collection.
I hope you enjoy the work and in the words of Coop “I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange”.
